TMG SUG Offers:

An informative web site:

While our web site is available to the world, members receive special information via a password protection. The site is continuously updated and includes demonstration topics, classroom notes, and articles from past newsletters. (The newsletter was discontinued in April 2001.) Minutes of our monthly meetings, program updates, and news of members are are also featured. If you are not a member, but would like to be, please contact us.

A support network for Roots-based and TMG programs:

Our members freely exchange information and tips on how best to utilize The Master Genealogist and the (now discontinued) Ultimate Family Tree software. Newcomers to the program take advantage of the wealth of information accumulated by long-time users and greatly increase their learning curve. Experienced members also offer advice and tutorials on using Windows, internet access, and other computer-related tasks and software.

Workshops:

Generally, two 45-minute workshops are presented with a business meeting in between. The workshops are instructional in nature and feature specific lessons on the various elements of the genealogical software—including basic, intermediate, and advanced, and hands-on demonstrations are featured. Genealogical research methods, using the internet and other topics of current interest are also presented. (See our schedule)

Our members exchange information on The Master Genealogist (TMG) and Ultimate Family Tree (UFT) series of genealogy software.
